God bless The Onion
Published April 26th, 2006 in College LifeLet’s just say this article speaks to me at the moment…
HUNTSVILLE, ONTARIO—Local beaver Dennis Messner is spending an inordinate amount of time and effort in the planning and construction phases of building his dam, according to neighbors close to the project.
…
“There are two primary schools of thought on dam building: the instinctive school and the adaptive school,” Messner said, studying the river’s current. “I’m more of an integration-minded postmodernist. I don’t believe that form should follow function, like most of my colleagues do. On the other hand, a dam is a celebration of beaver culture, and that is what it should reflect.”“It’s a lot to think about,” Messner continued.

Have been reading, and really enjoyed this article. It provides some needed humor!
I RSS feed too, but have taken the time on the last two posts to just come and enjoy the main image.
Hope your week is going well.
That’s fabulous.
If this gives you any idea of my sense of humor at the moment, this (terrible) joke made by Caroline while teaching her LEEP class had Emily Rogers and I in horrible stitches for at least five minutes:
“boolean logic. Y’know, it’s the logic that is used around Halloween.”
heh.
Will we get to meet S while she’s here?
