Incommunicado
Published June 17th, 2004 in UncategorizedYou’d think I would have mentioned it earlier, but Friday was my last day on the job. Not that it was my last day in the office — I’m typing away at my desk right now — but it does mean that I’m going to have limited access to the Internet until I can get my laptop fixed (post-July 2nd return). What am I doing with my time instead? Taking one last spin through Beijing, revisiting some of my favorite places and just taking it easy before my killer flight (Beijing -> Shanghai -> San Francisco -> Denver -> St. Louis).
I might even take a quick trip to Wuhan if I can get my act together, but most importantly, I want to spend a little more time with my friends in Beijing. Who knows how long it’ll take me to get back.
