China Moments: Instances of shock and/or frustration that occur when a foreigner is confronted with behavior or actions that, while not uncommon in China, would be considered rude or inappropriate elsewhere.

I’ve had more than my share of China moments in the last few days, the cumulative effect of which has been to keep me in my apartment more than usual. I’m not going to go into the gory details (and they are gory indeed), but will be back once things calm down.
